Get in Touch is a private reference page, not a government office. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody or released, pull an official record or booking photo, change a roster entry, release a person, or post bond. The office that created or holds the record must answer those questions.
Logan County Custody and Records
The detention center and sheriff have different jobs. The Logan County Detention Center directs the public to its Current Inmates system rather than giving inmate information by telephone. Use the live Logan County JailTracker roster for current custody, bond, charge, and court-date fields when the client is available. A past booking, a booking photo, or a record held by the sheriff needs a written request to the proper custodian.
Logan County Detention Center
304 West Third Street
Russellville, KY 42276
Telephone: 270-726-3696
Fax: 270-726-4676
The county detention page identifies Joshua Toomey as the contact shown there and links the Current Inmates route. It does not publish a guaranteed public photo display or update interval.
Logan County Sheriff’s Office
Sheriff Stephen Stratton
100 North Owen Street
Russellville, KY 42276
Office: 270-726-2244
Fax: 270-726-6145
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Address a records request to the Official Custodian of Records. The request may be mailed, emailed, faxed, or hand delivered, and the county asks for a specific description, printed name, address, and telephone number.

Logan County Court of Justice
329 West Fourth Street
Russellville, KY 42276
Telephone: 270-726-2424
The clerk is the local trial-record custodian. Give the case number when known, or provide a full name and an approximate filing or booking date. Ask for the disposition or order, not just a booking image.

City Police Request Paths
A city police incident report is not the same record as a Logan County jail booking. When a city arrest led to detention, ask the city for its incident or arrest file and ask the county detention custodian separately for the booking record or photo.
Russellville Police
104 SW Park Square
Russellville, KY
Telephone: 270-726-7669
The city pages reviewed did not show a dedicated police records form, maintained daily arrest log, or public booking-photo roster. Start with the City of Russellville and direct a written request to its records custodian. A jail intake request belongs with Logan County, not the city.
Auburn Police and City Records
103 East Main Street
Auburn, KY
Telephone: 270-542-4149
City records email: openrecords@auburnky.us
The Auburn open-records form identifies City of Auburn, P.O. Box 465, Auburn, KY 42206. It asks for the records, delivery method, residency, and commercial-purpose information under KRS 61.870 et seq. It is a city route, so send a separate Logan County request for a detention-center booking photo.
Adairville Police and City Records
110 North Main Street
Adairville, KY 42202
City telephone: 270-539-6731
Police-chief telephone listed by the state: 270-539-6131
The Adairville open-records form says any written request is honored and lists viewing or copies at $0.10 per page. Use that city path for a local incident or arrest file. Request a Logan County booking record from the county if the person was jailed.
Match the Source to the Question
A precise request saves time because custody, arrest, court, state-prison, and federal records are held in different systems. Choose the source that matches the record and the person’s present status.
- For current Logan County custody, use the detention center’s Current Inmates/JailTracker route.
- For a historical booking record or photo, send a specific written request to the relevant county custodian and ask whether the record is retained or lawfully withheld.
- For a sheriff investigation or county arrest report, use the sheriff’s Official Custodian of Records and the county’s written-request instructions.
- For a final case outcome, use the Logan County clerk and the Kentucky court-record request path.
- For release notifications, use the county’s VINE information page. It describes a ten-minute jail-computer scan and registration through 800-511-1670, but VINE is not a mugshot archive or a court-disposition system.
- For a person sentenced to state custody or supervision, search the Kentucky Online Offender Lookup, not the county jail roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP locator or ICE detainee locator.
Published fees need the same care. The sheriff’s schedule lists $2 for accident or case reports, $1 per page for copies or faxes, and a $10 photo line. It does not clearly label that $10 entry as a Logan County booking photograph, so confirm the category and any electronic-copy charge before paying. Auburn gives its request route without a quoted fee, while Adairville lists $0.10 per page. No court or Russellville police fee should be assumed from these schedules.
